Jill has a BS from Nova Southeastern University and a Master's Degree in Education from Troy State University. Prior to retiring as a middle school pre-Algebra teacher, Jill Davis worked at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, in St. Augustine, Florida. As a young adult worker at the deaf school, Jill was provided with an opportunity to become a registered interpreter and be active in the deaf community. The four years working there have been well served as she continues through life to always encounter deaf persons. They are delighted for a signed greeting and conversation. She is also an author of the book, The Small Town with a Big Heart, a true story about the people of St. Augustine. Jill has traveled the state giving motivational speeches regarding giving and altruism based on her book/screenplay.
