Florida's Fascinating Pollinators (Ages 5+)
"Is a beetle a pollinator? What about an ant? Or a fly? Come learn about the fascinating pollinators we have in Florida and how they contribute to our ecosystems!" In the class, participants will learn about some common, but lesser known, pollinators and talk about their importance. Kids will receive magnifying glasses to help locate some of these crawling pollinators on plants throughout Sholom Park.
NOTE: This special family program blends generations and enables grandparents (or parents) to participate in a class with a youthful partner. Any child registered for courses must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in order to attend classes. Attending adults must attend with a child. Adults cannot register without an attending child. When registering the younger participant(s), please use the adult's address so our staff and faculty will know which individuals are participating together. Refunds will be given if a cancellation request is received at least fourteen (14) business days prior to the start date of the class. All requests within that time period will have course fee forfeited.
