Experience Kyudo, the Japanese Art of Longbow Archery
Kyudo is the practice of Japanese long bow archery. Before gunpowder, long bows were the most powerful weapons in the world. Kyudo is now a zen practice that places emphasis on correct form, etiquette, and beauty. It is a meditative way to improve full body strength, posture, stability, and focus. After a brief history and demonstration of Kyudo movement and shooting, students will learn the basic postures and how to shoot.
