Gregory R. (Greg) Clements is the Associate Director of Research and Technology, in the Exploration Research and Technology Programs Directorate at the John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. He is responsible for strategic planning and analysis; developing formulation plans to address research and technology gaps, technical challenges, and the needs of KSC-resident spaceflight programs; resolving inter-organizational strategic issues; and serving as an advisor and mentor for leadership and organizational development. Greg has had a long career with NASA, starting work at Kennedy Space Center in 1985, and serving in various technical and leadership capacities focused upon telemetry processing, real-time command and control for human spaceflight, test engineering, electronics manufacturing, technology development, project formulation and management, and strategic planning in support of NASA strategic goals. Clements was born in Bayshore, New York, and grew up in Spring Hill, Florida, where he graduated from Springstead High School in 1981. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1984 with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1986. He also earned a master's in engineering management from Florida Tech in 1990. He lives in Mims, Florida, with his family.
