John Dahowski is a dedicated student of Civil War, Slavery, and Reconstruction history. He has toured thirteen battlefields alongside academic and National Park Service historians and attended seminars led by prominent Civil War authors. John has delivered lectures to the Sons of Union Veterans, the Lee County Library, the Pelican Preserve community, and the Imaginarium. As a volunteer historian at the Imaginarium Museum, he focuses on Civil War and Fort Myers history.
