Title: Silver Dangle Earrings

Course Description: (1-day class, 3 hrs) Students will create 2 pairs of earrings and ear wires. Instruction will focus on accurate measurement and cutting, drilling holes in metal, finishing edges to a smooth surface. In addition, students will learn how to make their own matching ear wires.  
Making your earrings: Students will learn how to use measuring tools to easily mark their metal for cutting matching shapes and for accurate drilling. Various methods to add texture to metal will be demonstrated. How to finish and polish your final product with all be taught. A variety of beads in metal, glass, crystal or pearls will be available to embellish students’ creation.
Introduction to Tools: Students will learn to use basic metals smithing tools: various hammers and their purposes, Dividers, Files, Drills, Flex shaft, Shears, Stamps and Dapping block. Materials Fee: $25

Title: Wire Wrapped Fidget Ring

Course Description: (1-day class, 3 hrs) Students will learn how to accurately measure their finger size with a ring gauge. Once you know your size, we will calculate the length of wire you will need. Students will use a ring mandrel to form the wire into a ring with your beads. Finally, using 1/2 round wire, you will secure the wires to finish your ring. 
What to bring: Bring paper and pencil for notes if desired. A small sharpie will help you to mark your measurements. Magnifiers or glasses for close work. Materials Fee: $20
