Carla Traudt

By the time Carla Traudt had graduated from high school, in 1964, she had traveled the country twice, hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, hiked the Pacific Crest Trail from Mt. Whitney to Half Dome, met Ansel Adams in Yosemite, watched the sunrise from Acadia National Park, and camped in the dunes of the Cape. In 1962, she was stepped on by a bear and her cub while sleeping in the backcountry of Yellowstone. She has since had a love affair with all of America's National Parks & Historic Sites. Carla has worked in Yellowstone & Crater Lake for the last twelve summers. Come hear her stories.
