Gregory Cain

Greg currently serves as the Director, Mission & Ministry at Florida Hospital Ocala. He has been a Staff Chaplain and Director of Quality Spiritual Care for the ICU and Emergency Department at Florida Hospital Altamonte since September 2015.

At Florida Hospital Altamonte, Greg worked on a variety of new and innovative plans and programs including the development of a Spiritual Care Plan model of care for Staff Chaplains and a program designed to help the hospital's Compassionate Rounding Teams connect with patients and families.

Prior to choosing a path of pastoral care in a clinical setting, Greg held the position of Associate Pastor at Markham Woods and Forest Lake Seventh-Day Adventist Churches and served as Senior Pastor for Lake City and Springs District of Churches.

Greg also held leadership roles in schools that are aligned with the teachings of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church where he served as Vice Principal and Principal at Forest Lake Academy and Highland View Academy respectively.

Greg holds certifications in teaching, coaching and therapy and completed his Clinical Pastoral Education Residency at Florida Hospital Orlando in 2015
